The Lithuanian Road Administration and AB Kauno tiltai signed a contract on the renewal of four sections of the Kaunas- Klaipėda highway for a total value of LTL 112.749 million (including VAT).
The company will strengthen 25 km of the road surfacing, will reconstruct 2 bridges - across the Ančia and Lokysta Rivers, 3 viaducts, will implement road-safety measures, and will reconstruct engineering networks. Estimated end of the works – January 2014. About 74 percent of the works are planned to be funded by the European Union (EU).
