Construction of a new road to Vilnius Airport. IXB transport corridor

Road infrastructure construction Project “Connection of IXB transport corridor (Žirniai str.) and Vilnius International Airport” has been completed within 6 months and was awarded a gold medal at the contest Product of the Year 2013.

Reconstruction of the Jakai Roundabout in Klaipėda, Stage I

During reconstruction of the Jakai roundabout, a four-lane overpass, the longest in Lithuania – 610-metres – was built. It was awarded a gold medal at the contest Product of the Year 2010.

Construction of the Missing Link of Transport Corridor IXB

During construction of the missing link of IXB transport corridor, a 380-m long overpass was built. This project received the highest award at the Outstanding Product of the Year 2008 – a gold medal.

Reconstruction of the Kaunas Railway Tunnel

During reconstruction of the Kaunas railway tunnel built in 1861, a 108-metre long section was rebuilt. This project received the highest award at the Outstanding Product of the Year 2009 – a gold medal.

NordBalt Power Link with Sweden. Laying of the Underground Cable

During implementation of the project NordBalt power link with Sweden the company will lay 13 km of high-voltage direct-current cable line from Klaipėda transformer substation (Kiškėnai village) to the Curonian Spit (Alksnynė settlement). Total length of the power link with Sweden is 450 km.

The replacement of the 110 kW power line with the underground cable

The company replaced the 110 kW power line with the underground cable in the Vilnius Western bypass construction site. The replacement of the power line was an important part of construction of the Vilnius Western bypass, as the power line impeded to proceed with the continuation of the road.

Construction of the Vilnius Western Bypass, Stage I. Installation of lighting on the Lazdynai Bridge

Start date: 2008 November End date: 2010 October Value: 0,8 million euros without VAT
During reconstruction of the Vilnius Lazdynai Bridge, street illumination and a trolleybus contact line was installed. The bridge was widened up to eight lanes, instead of the former six. A section of Oslas St. from the Lazdynai Bridge to Erfurtas St. was repaired, and a viaduct on Oslas St- Laivės Ave. was renovated.

Reconstruction of the Jakai Roundabout in Klaipėda, installation of lighting

During reconstruction of the Jakai roundabout, a four-lane scaffold bridge, the longest in Lithuania – 610-metres – was built. It was awarded a gold medal at the contest Product of the Year 2010. The width of the scaffold bridge ranges from 20 to 30.5 meters, Also, a tunnel viaduct was renewed, engineering networks were reconstructed, and lighting of the scaffold bridge was installed.

Installation of lighting on the Kaunas P.Vileišis Bridge

Start date: 2008 March End date: 2009 December Value: 0,1 million euros without VAT
During reconstruction of the 287.55-metre long P.Vileišis Bridge built in 1960, the bridge deck and the metal bridge structures with a total area of over 12,000 m2 were repaired, 534-metre long parapets were erected, the new pavement was laid, the road approaches and cones were arranged. Communication and trolleybus contact networks were reconstructed, the new bridge lighting supports were built.

Installation of Lighting in the Trans-European Network Road E85 (Vilnius – Kaunas- Klaipėda)

Lighting has been installed in a 9.16-metre long road section. The metal galvanised lighting supports were placed on a concrete foundation. Illuminators with sodium bulbs are being used.

Installation of lighting on the Aleksotas Bridge in Kaunas

Start date: 2004 March End date: 2005 March
Bearings and pylons of the Aleksotas Bridge, built in 1930, have been reconstructed; new bearing parts were installed; irreplaceable metal structures of bridge opening were cleaned and repainted, new metal structures were manufactured for the former movable part of the bridge. In addition, new lighting poles, steel protective guards, and expansion joints were installed. Length of the bridge is 247 metres, width of the carriageway is 10.5 metres, the total width of the bridge is 15.8 metres.
