Construction of a new road to Vilnius Airport. IXB transport corridor

Road infrastructure construction Project “Connection of IXB transport corridor (Žirniai str.) and Vilnius International Airport” has been completed within 6 months and was awarded a gold medal at the contest Product of the Year 2013.

Reconstruction of the Jakai Roundabout in Klaipėda, Stage I

During reconstruction of the Jakai roundabout, a four-lane overpass, the longest in Lithuania – 610-metres – was built. It was awarded a gold medal at the contest Product of the Year 2010.

Construction of the Missing Link of Transport Corridor IXB

During construction of the missing link of IXB transport corridor, a 380-m long overpass was built. This project received the highest award at the Outstanding Product of the Year 2008 – a gold medal.

Reconstruction of the Kaunas Railway Tunnel

During reconstruction of the Kaunas railway tunnel built in 1861, a 108-metre long section was rebuilt. This project received the highest award at the Outstanding Product of the Year 2009 – a gold medal.

Reconstruction of the trunk road A12 Riga- Šiaulia- Tauragė- Kaliningrad of state significance

Start date: 2014 May End date: 2015 May Value: 8,2 million euros
The company will reconstruct a 6.5 km-long section of the trunk road A12 Riga- Šiauliai- Tauragė-Kaliningrad of state significance (from 160 km to 166.5 km) in Tauragė region. A roundabout will be built at the beginning of the section under reconstruction (at the intersection with the regional road No. 199), a 20 m-long viaduct across the railway will be reconstructed, and utility networks will be renewed.

Construction of the Missing Link of Transport Corridor IXB

Start date: 2006 September End date: 2009 March Value: 20,9 million euros without VAT
During construction of the missing link of transport corridor IXB a 2.9-km long road was built. Pedestrian and transport viaducts were constructed, 5 km of noise barriers were installed, 4 km of the adjacent transport infrastructure network were reconstructed, bicycle paths and footways were also laid. During construction works Kauno tiltai AB constructed a 380-metre long overpass. Until December 2010 this was the longest overpass in Lithuania. »

Installation of lighting on the Kaunas P.Vileišis Bridge

Start date: 2008 March End date: 2009 December Value: 0,1 million euros without VAT
During reconstruction of the 287.55-metre long P.Vileišis Bridge built in 1960, the bridge deck and the metal bridge structures with a total area of over 12,000 m2 were repaired, 534-metre long parapets were erected, the new pavement was laid, the road approaches and cones were arranged. Communication and trolleybus contact networks were reconstructed, the new bridge lighting supports were built.

Installation of Lighting in the Trans-European Network Road E85 (Vilnius – Kaunas- Klaipėda)

Start date: 2007 August End date: 2008 October Value: 0,8 million euros without VAT
Lighting has been installed in a 9.16-metre long road section. The metal galvanised lighting supports were placed on a concrete foundation. Illuminators with sodium bulbs are being used.

Reconstruction of Viaducts and Construction of the Truck Weigh and Inspection Station on the road A1 Vilnius-Kaunas-Klaipėda

Start date: 2008 September End date: 2009 December Value: 7,9 million euros without VAT
The project includes the strengthening of road pavement sand road shoulders on the road A1 Vilnius-Kaunas-Klaipėda, in the sections from 300.95 to 303.14 km on the right side, and from 302.66 to 303.74 km on the left side, repairs of viaducts (303.1 km), and construction of the Truck Weight and Inspection Station.

Installation of lighting on the Aleksotas Bridge in Kaunas

Start date: 2004 March End date: 2005 March
Bearings and pylons of the Aleksotas Bridge, built in 1930, have been reconstructed; new bearing parts were installed; irreplaceable metal structures of bridge opening were cleaned and repainted, new metal structures were manufactured for the former movable part of the bridge. In addition, new lighting poles, steel protective guards, and expansion joints were installed. Length of the bridge is 247 metres, width of the carriageway is 10.5 metres, the total width of the bridge is 15.8 metres.

Construction of Palanga bypass. A project carried under public and private partnership

Construction of over 8-km long Palanga bypass is the first project in the road construction sector implemented by way of private and public partnership in Lithuania. Within 2 years the company will construct a new section of A13 Klaipėda-Liepāja trunk road, which before transferring it to the state ownership will be maintained for 23 years. »

Reconstruction of the Vileišis Bridge in Kaunas

Bridge B to the Nemunas River Island

Start date: 2007 March End date: 2008 May Value: 2 million euros without VAT
Within a year of building the first bridge to the Nemunas River Island the company built a frame bridge, 60.9-metre long and 14.6-metre wide with three traffic lanes. Abutments were built on reinforced concrete pole foundations. Intermediate steel concrete bearings were fixed in the monolithic reinforced concrete grillage and in the span structure. The span structure is a reinforced concrete monolithic hollow slab with transverse diaphragms at the abutments and intermediate bearings.
